    When I think of You

    When I think of you my heart races,
    My emotions go from sad to joyful.
    I see you in my mind, when im awake as when im asleep.
    You are always in my heart.
    When I say your name I feel something that I only felt once before, that is love.
    You make me happy,
    You make me smile,
    for its thanks to you my heart has healed.
    All this happens when I think of you.

    Raw expressions are like fresh air. Initially I read this piece because I am a huge Janet Jackson fan and she has a song titled "When I Think of You". It's funny the things that act as beacons in our lives. This piece sounds extremely honest and it lacks all those things that would make it pretentious.
