When you look at me 7-27-07
Just what do you see when you look at medo you see my past
before you see my future
Do you see disappointed children
afraid to get too close
because their daddy might be taken away again
Someone who cant seem to love themselves
and therefor hates them self for it
A man who cant seem to let go of the pain
because it's the only thing in his life thats ever been constant
Or the mountain of financial debt owed to the same state government
that took away his freedom and livelihood
How about a man who's caught so deep
in the wheels of the system that he cant get out
Maybe someone who's only dreams that ever came true
were the nightmares
Or just a simple man with more reasons to give up
than to keep fighting
Because thats what I see
from my point of view.
