    Poem Commentary

Wrote to my (now) husband the weekend we met.

When You Walked Through That Door

When you walked through that door and looked into my eyes, I never had that feeling I thought I would die.

The connection we had when you gave me a hug, felt like you took my heart and gave it a tug.

When you walked through that door and said hello, I wanted to hold you and never let go.

This my be fate or I may be wrong, but I wont give up I've waited too long.
