    WHERE DID I GO WRONG?

    life should've been different.
    like cookies and cream.
    it should've been filled with love.
    hopes and dreams.
    what happened to the blue skies?
    the robin's and their songs.
    walks thru the woods
    hand in hand with no demons tagging along.
    it's one in the morning
    my eyes still wide awake.
    life should've been different
    more give, less take.
    what happened to love?   
    where did it go?
    why must i be the one to suffer?
    my heart bleeds, that's all i know.
    how come the nights are so long and lonely?
    what must i have done so wrong?
    life should've been different
    more like a gentle song.                     steve

    You did nothing wrong but love someone and that is not a crime . I love this poem. Full of truths and passion and just heart . You have a wonderful talent Marie
