    Where I would go

The thin black cat stretched slowly
    Needling the white picket fence
Leapt down into a dark lee
    Into shadows, a mere presence
Down to dark places that cats go
And only cats seem to know
I wish to go where cats go
And know what only cats can know

The pondering - I sense the influence of Frost in this write - his ever questioning mind. Nice work. ~Pamela

Most men don't care for cats or, so the stereotype says this is true... I know their loyalties are very fleeting, tied instinctively to food acquisition... I'm still mesmerized at time by them, however... That laser sharp quickness which defines them... The ability to do absolutely nothing but, sleep for hours on end, then slip almost casually into this mysterious creature, where they play out the cat and mouse game with anything that looks killable... Great simple write Frost, enjoyed the read....

I love cats. What a great subject. Personally I think you can never say enough about a sweet kitty! Great job, another enjoyable piece!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
