     Where is the love

    just look around
    it can be found

    Where is the love

    see those smiles
    you were allowed to see them
    even for just a short while

    Where is the love

    it's in time with
    your children
    or family
    Oh cant you see

    Where is the love

    cross the bridge
    you may find it
    on the other side

    I found it
    in my bride

    Where is the love

    so many ask
    but
    it's your task
    to be love

    Where is the love

    it's not a feeling
    or
    just a word
    even though
    that may sound absurd

    Where is the love

    it's within you
    it's within me too

    Where is the love

    it can still be found
    but
    you wont find it in the city
    or
    a town

    Where is the love

    it's not in a bottle
    or a pipe
    or
    a flask

    it's a simple task
    to be love

    Where is the love

    don't you know yet
    be love
    and
    love is what
    you will get
