    Which Way

    In a maze of highways
    and blinking lights,
    which way is up
    and which way is right?
Buildings higher then the eyes can see.
Higher even, than the birds can flee.
    There's parts of glamour
    and parts of slums.
Homes for stars and homeless bums.
There are many things I've never seen.
Things quite often found in dreams.
    Nightmares cast their shadows down.
    Touching ever so closely now.
    There's nowhere to go
    and nowhere to hide
until we reach the end of this ride.

Absorbtion becomes joy to the mind looking for contentment among confusion. Optomistic outlook. Many directions leave many adventures. :)

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
