    Whispers

    Write a little note,
    share with me your sign,
    whisper in my ear,
and tell me ill be fine.     "ill be fine"
    Lay down on the ground,
and look up to the sky,
    close your eyes and dream,
and try not to make me cry.   "not to make me cry"
Our love was on the brinks,
our love was in the air,
tell me its at the doorway to heaven,
and ill meet you there.   "ill meet you there"
    Take a deep breath,
    and let it out slow,
    whisper in my ear,
and tell me our love will grow.   "our love will grow"
    Lets take a little walk,
and ill hold you by the hand,
    we'll walk around the world,
and ill show you undiscovered land.  "Undiscovered land"
    Ill write a little note,
and share with you my sign,
    Ill whisper in your ear,
and tell you we'll be fine.   "we'll be fine"
Ill lay down on the ground,
and look up to the sky,
ill close my eyes and dream,
and try not to make you cry.   "not to make you cry"

This is gorgeous. The whispers set up in the current format are so effective they add to the depth of this work. the rhythm is remarkable, the rhyme corresponds completely with the rhythm. This is one you can be very proud of.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
