    Poem Commentary

    in spring of 65 me and my best friend came across a poem glued to the side of a bldg at 4th and Pike downtown Seattle, it was called She Died, it was about a young woman who jumped from the bldg. I still remember a lot of it, anyway that's how I got inspired to try my hand at it

    "Who" (my first poem)

             “Who”

     who is inside me

    who controls my

    every thought and deed

    someone please tell me

            WHO?

     

    I’d like to find my

    subconscious who and

    discuss me with him

     

    I wonder about him

    does he make different

    or is it my imagination

     

    would I be satisfied

    to know about him

    I doubt it

     

    does he trip out with me

    I wish there were

    answers to my questions

     

    inside I know

    no one can or will

    answer these things

     

    only one person

    can approach

    a conclusion for me

     

    that is me

    the biggest who of all

    Cutbanksam, it's quite an honor to read your first poem and where you received your inspiration to write. A poem of that magnitude on a building, is a highly easily understandable inspiration. Thanks for sharing both. Great stuff!
