Who was it that laughed?

  • I don't write in structure. I don't write often. I write when and how I feel.

Who was it that laughed?

What do you do when you've been pushed to far?

I tried being there even while being pushed.

How far can we make this person go,they would ask.

How will she react if we do this and this today.

This game is fun, lets push harder!

Now we will add a sprinkling of the untruth.

Mmm that tatsted good, lets dump in the hole bucket.

Oh look at her squirm.

Such and idiot, let's laugh louder and see if she gets the hint.

Whoops she tried to bite, let's step back and be real a moment.

Oh this game is fun!!

Okay she is settled let's be more than subtle.

?Why does she seem so withdrawn.?

Why isn't she taking the bate the way she did?

Oh such an idiot to believe we ever cared.

Why is she laughing?

Her touch in the night is less firm.

Whatever I like the spice let's get more.

Oh no she attacked.

How dare she!

After everything we have done for this whore!

Who is she to turn on us?

What a skank, what an idiot.

Why is she laughing so hard when she says just wait?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
