    I concidered a what if. If we could only be the very best we could be.

    WHO YOU ARE [Could this be you?]


    WHAT IF...
       In this great vast Universe,
       Before you were born this time.
       Just when things were getting worse
       There was sent to us - a Divine.

       The one who could turn us all around;
       The one who would lead the way.
       Born in a home, much like yours.
       A contemporary, one might say.

    NOW - JUST SUPPOSE...
       The message got misplaced.
       There was so much else to do.
       But when you finally stopped to think
       That Messenger was you.

       In all this great vast Universe
       We all looked the other way.
       Not me - not me, would be our cry.
       Not me - we all would say.

    SO NOW...
       You begin to think a bit.
       You think of what you've done.
       You think you weren't the one at all;
       You ran, but you hadn't won.

       Yet now you finally realize
       Just who you really are.
       There is time enough to change,
       over you there hangs a star.

    AT LAST...
       You now have found the truth
       There's time to pick up the baton.
       And now you can run with all the Saints.
       Run on my friend - run on.

       For you are finally back on track.
       Now you know just who you are.
       YOU are that Messenger of Love.
       YOU are that shining star.

    A fantastic inspirational work you've created. "What if" many discover who they are and do all according as intended. The world would be a totally different place. Great write.

    Wow, you really did well with this piece and kept me transfixed and thinking it reminded me of another time another place but a stable and a star from the East. I admire the way you weave this story and really set a mind a pondering. Great read!
