    Poem Commentary

    Are we not our own best friend
    and worst enemy?

    WHO?

    Who keeps you from success?
    Who now stands in your way?
    Who allows you to digress
    When things ahead look gray?

    Who slows when you should go,
    Just when all things look right?
    Though in your heart you know,
    Who turns that day to night?

    There is no magic here
    It's not some kind of who-do.
    There's no one else to fear.
    We all know who - You Do!

    Who keeps you standing tall?
    Who stiffens up your spine?
    Who keeps you from a brawl
    And saves you just in time?

    Who helps you stand your ground?
    Who knows when you are right?
    Who's happiness is found
    When for friendship you'll not fight?

    Who backs you up each day
    And helps in all you do,
    So success WILL come your way?
    We all can guess who - You Do!
