    Who's Running the Human Race

Can’t we see we have the same DNA,

born on the shores of the same bay.

All of us formed by the same clay,

yet as one or children never play.

We see only what our eyes allow,

you regard my difference to you foul.

Why should I die just because I won’t kowtow,

a field of hatred is in need of a plow.

Do you really believe that your philosophy,

is more important than a shared biology?

If you can’t love me, just let me be,

like you, I just want to be free.

What did you think? No one’s setting the pace,

I will confront you when you’re in my face,

things must change or no one will win this Human Race.

Well said. Speak the truth. You couldn't get any plainer than this. If you can't love me, let me be. Hatred is not necessary. A hater is something you choose to be. Loved it!! Great write....E

Well said, K. There's no explanation for it. those that practice it didn't need one. Hatred is a function of fear, and those who allow fear to be the guiding force in their life can't help but hate the world and everthing in it. It's a necessary mechanism, that gives them an excuse to avoid facing themselves, and what they really are.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
