Why did I leave her there????......
Dreaming of a distant place,The sun, the sand, the sea.
I look out to the ocean waves,
My love she calls for me.
I run to her to hold her,
But she seems so far away.
The more I run, the distance grows,
No matter what I say.
And now I am getting closer,
I can see her long blonde hair.
I can see the tears in her eyes,
Why did I leave her there?
For when I wake up from my dream,
My sweet-hearts no-where near.
As cancer took my girl away,
In hospital last year.
But still I dream of places,
The sun, the sand , the sea.
I look out to the ocean waves,
For she's waiting there for me.
