    why I cry..
    Last night I lay awake and thought
    about my life and how its been.
    My lack of tears don't mean a thing,
    I felt the hurt as much as those who cried.
    I am a realist and accept it as a part of living.
    Emotions make you weak
    so you get them out of the way to be able to do what you need to do
    but they do have a place.
    My family was there but they could not give me
    what I really needed.
    My emotional needs then and now are still the same.
    I just needed someone to hold me
    someone who truly cared.
    If you love me the way you say you do
    you can make it all fall into place ..
