Why I hate you
Why do I bother?
It’s not like you’ll change.
There is no respect,
So there can be no real love.
Essentially I am in a one sided relationship.
You do not love me.
Say it.
You do not care about me.
Say it.
You are empty inside.
I hate that I gave you my heart.
I hate that I have spent so many years
Loving you, caring for you.
Wasting myself on someone
Who loves only himself.
You never loved me.
Say it.
You never cared about me.
Say it.
I am empty inside.
I let this, this thing go too far.
Allowing you to take and take.
Making excuses as I gave and gave.
Burying the hurt when you gave nothing back.
Convincing myself it was me not you.
You can not love.
Say it.
You can not care.
Say it.
Our life is empty.
You’re anger has done this to us.
You’re blatant disregard for my feelings.
Your lack of apathy for what remains
Of you and me is the ending
Of what once might have been beautiful.
I do not love you.
Hear me.
I do not care about you.
Hear me.
Here I leave you, as you left me,
empty.
