Why I want to love
someone who loves and cares the way that I do
so much that on our wedding day I won't be scared to say "I do"
I want to touch my partner's heart just like he has touched mines
so that we can love each other more and more until the end of time
the love that I feel now is so wonderful you see
that it goes so much farther than any ocean or sea
my heart goes out to those who don't know what love is
but I pray one day that you find out what true love really is
everytime that I think about my true love
I know God made him from the blue heavenly skies above
I want to be lifted so high that I can fly like a newborn bird
so that I can sing out loud and always be heard
my wings are so strong that they hold my love way up high
that I will always stand tall to touch the pretty blue heavenly sky
there are so many reasons why I want to love
because now that God has touched my heart I learned how to love
I really can't explain why I feel the way that I do
all I know is to write my feelings down so you can learn to understand me too
God has blessed me to learn from way up above
