    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this years ago, so the style is a bit different

    Why?

    You said you like me, no wait, you said love!
    but that’s something I was afraid to speak of
    But when I did get just a little emotion
    You sunk my ship! In the middle of the ocean!

    You broke me down, you tore me apart
    what kind of person are you?! You have no heart.
    What did I do to you to deserve this?
    You took all my happiness, joy, and bliss!

    Maybe I could understand, if I had hurt you...
    But I didn’t  this wasn’t something you had to do.
    Give me my happiness back! For real it’s mine.
    Why did you do this…really why?!

    This is exactly how I felt no how I feel about my ex it hurts but moving on is key to life

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
