Poem Commentary

this one was written some time in 2003 also, but I was dumb and didn't put the month.  I don't know if it is even finished or not...   lol   any advice??

Winter Time

I watch the clouds
Churning up a storm
Laying down blankets of white.

Looking behind me
Rolling hills of green
Where the sun is shinig bright.

Rivers running strong
Icy fingers stroking
The large rocks down below.

The birds are soaring
High up in the sky,
Looking just like a lost soul.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
