WINTER...
Early winter summers blight
snow decending blanket white
Sun is shining, sky of blue
children's faces a rosy hue
Eyes that sparkle smiles wide
sleds in tow walking side by side
Frozen breath from little faces
advantage taken of winters graces
Pine trees always of ever green
now ly coated with icy sheen
Rivers and streams ran uncaring
now frozen over skaters daring
Winters chill is ever cold
wind that blows is always bold
Drift on drift of white on white
children gather for the snowball fight
Those who don't do other things
making snow angels halos and wings
The sun is setting it's time to come in
not to worry tho it's snowing again...
