Wisdom
Who can find the face of wisdom illuminated clear?
Are we, captives to injustice and bondage of fear?
Who can take away garments of mourning and affliction?
Or return honor and justices upon hearts conviction.
Their tongues polished by the craftsman,
Working their web of deceit like a draftsman.
Themselves laid with gold and silver, are treacherous!
Eyes gleaming evil portrayed as gracious.
They do not defend us from rust and moth.
With tongues as slick and smooth as silk cloth.
Paint, they words of colorful seduction.
Deceiving lead us down the path to destruction.
Except the rust be wipe off; it will not shine!
Wipe out the moth that withers freedom, yours and mine.
Humble your heart and ears to hear truth.
Unlock the door to light and be a sleuth.
