WISHING YOU WERE HERE

WISHING YOU WERE HERE

There`s a quiet place in my mind

Wishing to find, someone kind

In my eyes a vision of you

 And your eye captures me

We stare, what can I say !

Both of us without a care

The emotion in me is like an ocean

Softly, as love  comes, the tide pulls me

Toward the shore, you I begin to adore

Love shows me

I`m not the lonely palm, Will you be long?

My mind is filled (all day)

With thoughts of calm, I belong !

Rolling in the sand, take my hand

Slowly the sun begins to set

Are you glad we met ?

Night has come, were still together

Sweetest song ever

When will you  be calling ?

As we long for love we keep our eyes smiling in way that says LOVE.... You captured this feeling with your words... I loved the last line, when will you be calling! Wonderful, .... Mary

this is very good it brought me to tears, I know what you mean about the quiet place in your mind

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
