    Words Not Needed

I need not hear the words
    for what I know you
    are keeping hidden
    in your heart

    Your fingertips have already
    written them in the
    sweetest letter to
    me on my spine

    Your lips have seared the
    truth with each kiss
    you softly place
    on my neck

Not I do not need words
    when you have permanently
    engraved your secrets
    on my bare skin
