    Words of hope and words of death

    same word being said

    taken in a different way

    can build or break lift up or tear away

    a heart can feel the words being said

    with love in the voice

    when I love you is being said

    take a moment and say a word

    how it’s taken is the worth of that word

    don’t hold back with a kind word

    give it softly so it can be heard

    loud words being said only taken as the worst

    give and take with gentle love

    so you can feel those tender words

    don’t give thought of harsh words

    let them go

    like they were not heard

    you speak not of words, but of inflection and nuance - a much more honest guide to intent than what is actually spoken. I really like this one quite a bit :)

    People say forgive but don't forget. I would rather forgive and forget. Why would we want to remember those awful things? But if it's still in my present and not in my past how then can I forget?
