    WOW!
    I ask Him for just a crumb and He gives me a slice.
    I thank Him for each breath and He promises me eternal life.
    I pray for small and He blesses me really big.
    I’m ashamed of my mistakes and He forgives me for all the little mess that I did.
    I ask Him to order my steps and He’s there every step of the way.
    I ask protection for an hour and He watches my back all day.
    I think about His goodness and I can’t help but to smile.
    The sun shines, the birds chirp, and I am ever thankful that I am His child.
    Sometimes I sit and think what a strong and courageous man that He is.
    I just can’t help but be grateful at how He always handles His.

    Nicely done. Try keeping each line to ten syllables. Also try keeping a left margine. On line four where it says....for all the little mess that I did. Try rewording this, may be .....for all the little mistakes I made. Or try shortening the line. All in all it is heart felt emotional. Keep writing.
