    Yesterday's Suspicions

    There I go again

    Making up stories in my head

    Maybe based on a little bit of truth

    Of something from long ago I knew

    But I have no proof

    Nothing of It now to show

     

    Just suspicions of long ago

    Are fueling this fire

    Maybe I’m perseverating

    But I know Also about how some sparks of desire

    They don’t tire

    Easily that is anyway

    So that’s why I am on this again today

     

    Why should I care about the past

    When I know the flame

    And the anger didn’t last?

     

    After all it was never brought to my attention

    After all it was never really meant to be my concern

    Besides I was young

    Too busy to point out what was wrong

     

    Any who it is all yesterday’s news

    And I love you

    Very well written.. confusing minds Satan loves to devour and put us in a state where we then are unsure of ourselves...

    i fel you on this....but the feelings it brings me are shame...and guilt...sadly i can say....at one time..this could have been written for me...makes me think twice about even trying anything..new...;-)..thanks..like a reality check for me...
