    You Haunt Me

    You haunt my dreams
    I wake up crying
    Even though it’s over
    You’re still in my mind
I close my eyes and I see you
    I see your hands
    What you put me through
    It’s in my mind
    Still everyday
No matter how hard I try
    I can’t turn away
    I try to forget
    And it’s not fair
    You moved on
    But I’m still there
    You live your life
    with no fear
    I look over my shoulder
    Still feel you near
    I am alive
    That’s what people say
    But who I was died
When you hurt me that day

    thank you. :)

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
