You Lived!
Like a ghost, you live in
sad songs.
Surfing the waves, you wash up on the shores
of my unsuspecting mind.
Memories creep up fast
like dreams.
Only, I cant wake up safe.
Sometimes, when I speak of you.
I laugh. Then, I tear up.
That headstone weighs heavy
on us both!
It is a hard reality.
But, one thing can be said.
"You lived!"!!!
That makes me happy.
