    you, sharing me;who cares?

you hold the head which hosts the mouth
    that spat on my life.
    your soul has become uncleansed
with the filth of modern dust,(lust!).
    you arrived with much comfort,and
    left leaving dis such.
    once while peeking through
    your heart's opened window
i did see the honesty prevailing over you.
it was weaking by a stregnth, just to know.
also,it was leaking, adding to the legnth,
    so that you or me
    but never both
    may grow.

I really enjoyed this one Tyke. I think it's a great metaphoric poem. You managed to say so much with so few words. Great work!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
