You Were There
When i thought i had no one to turn to,
You showed me the way,
When i thought there was no hope,
You told me tomorrow will be a better day.
When i said i had no one,
You showed me people care,
When i needed help,
You were always there.
When i was drowning in darkness,
You grabbed my hand,
And when i fell,
You helped me to stand.
When i was considering suicide,
You told me not to commit treason,
When i thought i had no reason to live,
You gave me a reason.
You taught me,
That we all have our ups and downs,
To believe ,
And never to frown.
