    You

My life was based on rush
Never took the time to look
See the world, stop for a moment
    A place for everything
    Everything for a place
    No mess, no running late
Not enough time in one day
    Always on the go
    Never time to set back
    Then, just then
    You came along
    Now my life that was
    Is no more
    A thing of the past
For now I take the time
    Time to stop
    See the world
    The rush is in me
    I take the time
    For I have many thoughts
    No more places for things
    Things everywhere
    Everywhere but here and there
A mess daily, daily a mess
    Where did my life go
    Where everything had a place
Always in rush, never time to stop
For my life is with you
    For I do for you
    You are you
    You are my Son
    Mess and all

Excellent subject for children have a way of leading us to new adventures and thoughts. I like. Sorry I haven't been around to comment.

Some how I knew you were talking about your son before you said it in your poem. A wonderful tribute to a mother's love that says that it is okay to make a mess. The important thing is to learn to not be bothered by it, clean it up perhaps or not, but just enjoy life. Wonderful words. Thank you.

great poem .without babies we cannot living.i like babies mess.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
