    YOUR MEMORY

i heard a night bird call your name in the distance
the wind whispered how much i love you
the raindrops wondered if we'd stay together
time gave the answer we already knew.

the stars guided two hearts together
then the moon watched them fall apart
the flowers know nothing lives forever
the truth lives inside a broken heart

    the minutes uncovered empty feelings
the seconds ticked away the tenderness
the heart tried to holdon with great resistance
when it knows forever only ends in loneliness

the dreams fade away with brisk remembrance
words will turn silent with the tears
goodbye will linger with the sadness
the memory of a broken-heart will never fade with all the years........

This is so tender and revealing. Anyone that has truly loved and lost can relate to and cry with this poem. Beautiful and bitter-sweet.

love has no boundaries ,thou yesterday is not forgotten as a distant trial and now in these latter days I will rejoice because in all my suffering I have realized how much greater I can appreciate what I do have

    so sweet and heartbreaking

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
