    Up all night, tossing and turning. 
    Trying to yield this restless yearning.
    Pretending it was just a thing, yet this lust 
    keeps on burning. 

    The absence of your presence does not kill 
    the thrill I feel every time you cross my mind.
    The memory of your smile, your smooth style,
    the way you held me for awhile.
    These thoughts just keep on living.
    My heart wants to keep on giving.

    Well said. I give this an 8. The poem is reflective but the longing is vivid but calm. Like someone looking out the window, wishing their loved one was close once again.
