    YOUR TEARS MY TEARS

I've seen you weep in silence, You didn't know I was there,
I wish you'd share your sorrows, with someone who does care.
Alone is a terrible thing, with such a heavy heart,
I am here for you always, as right from the start.

I feel the pain with you, let me take some upon my chest,
Then lay your weary head, tenderly upon my breast.
I am not stronger nor wiser, Just felt the pain you feel,
Alone in my sorrow, a tender hand helped me heal.

Let me walk the path with you, when you cry I will too,
There's no shame in the tears, as we start life anew.
Know you're not alone, after all these years,
For all that you feel, your tears are my tears.

Being there for someone is always greater than any other actions. Continue writing and expressing these emotions.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
