Yours To Keep
I woke up to see
The light of day
Then I found myself
Floating away
Into the sky
Through days gone by
When I was free
And in control.
That was me
Buried in that hole
Six feet of dirt
But still it hurts.
Not a single grain
Of this sand
Will stop the pain
Of a dying man.
I closed my eyes
And fell asleep
The blood I shed
Is yours to keep.
