Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

Do you really want to go this place with me,
For what I have witnessed hardly any can bare to see.
I traveled the world gazing into the heart of the cold and black,
I have watched people wither away as the maggot onslaught would attack.

Animals of every height feasting on nourishment that would make them live another day,
So that the ending road their victims would be their lasting prey.
For not only animals would plunged into this gore fest of blood and gore,
If you peer into the faithful closet you will see so much more.

Crucifixion in Jesus’ time was the final road that would be punishment for a crime,
But then they buried lost soul in block of lime.
Burning like hell on earth would drive most to madness in the end,
Yet there was still more to horrors to endure just around the bend.

You see in the text of old such reasons for salvation would be deemed worthy in pain,
And as the ghost of the past walk this land you wonder if it was all in vane.
Humans have bled their own for years in the names of gods and the mighty ones,
And they have littered their rotting corpse by the tons.

From the Maya, to the Aztec to The Holy Roman Church cater to one need,
If you don’t believe like us we shall make you bleed.
Dismemberment was a decorative fashion for Ed Gein and his sort,
But look out into this world to the last edges of humanity and what they resort.

You wanted blood, gore and find the horrors of this land we live in,
Then see past the passions of good evil and saint to sin.
For like us they are woven with a spool of thread in life,
Where the sisters of fate can be cut with a simple knife.

So crimson is our blood that we horde its taste in so many ways,
For it is on our computers, in our mind and talks to us everyday.
In all the blood lust it shall never quench the thirst of the pain that dwell in you,
For in the end to stop the pain you know what you need to do.

It is not horror or gore that you wish to finally see,
For in the end its your own hurt that you wish to be set free.
By holding to the vanquishing of another life you transfer the pain you have inside,
For it is not blood lust that you crave it’s the pain you hide.

You have a choice you can use what you know is right,
You can help those or die in your own plight.
You wanted horrors yet you live with the fears of yourself each day,
For there is hate out there, blood that has dried out in every way.

Find them if you must see all you can ever take,
But as you envision these pounds of flesh you will see your mistake.
Life is a gift given to you whether you like it or care,
But the deeper you go down to that depth all you find is despair.

Is that a venture you wish to go,
For is that all that drives your ego?
Ask yourself is my pain worth the suffering of us all,
For little one you are just another small writing on the wall.

Think about it Plot121 cool hmm

Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

I enjoy reading the demented demon infested rhymes of others. One of my favorite poets on site is:
Mootpoint. Check out some of his work - I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Here are some of my own favorite bleeds.
Go to: knight4696 and check them out

Satana
Desolation Of The Damned
Fountains Of Flame
Winter Witch
The Thrones Of Mankind

Let me know what you think. I hope they're to your liking.
Thanks!

Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

This is one I wrote about Elizabeth Short aka Black Dahlia

HIDEOUS GRIN

She had a dream
For the silver screen
That wasn't the action she sought
She lay there alone
Cut through the bone
By a man that she knew, so she thought
Her knees became weak
While he cut cheek to cheek
She met death with one hell of a punch
Still bound with clothes line
As he sliced through her spine
Just before sitting down for his lunch
Never came a report
Of who did this to Short
He went to his grave with this sin
No suspect now sought
for the gal in the lot
Cut in two with a hideous grin

Monster Quest

I just wanted to ask if any of you poets have encountered a monster from the history channel???

When I was 9, in 1979, I went fishing with my grandfather, in Northern Indiania, at a river, I dont know where, maybe Kankakee River, or did I ask my Paps when he was alive, I don't recall...,,,
But I remember seeing a giant bird, like a Birdzilla.
I remember him telling me, John you will never see that again, and no one will believe ya, but I thought it was a dinosour type, like a pterodactyl

House Of Chards

House of chards
How you stick me so
Your blade pierce my skin
In pain I beg of you please
As I lay where I fall
I bleed and I bleed
I take a breath and I bleed
I cry in pain
I begin to fade
I breathe.....
I breathe.....
I breathe my last breath
I breathe no more and now
There's nothing left

Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

And as valerie lay there bleeding and dying
There arose a chatter, from way in the back
Get on with the morbid show and stop crying
We’ve no time to for you to slow down the act.

Let's get Gracey to come back for an encore,
She doesn't seem quite dead enough to me.
Maybe if we all scream in fright, she just might
Entertain us to death, with more of her gore.

Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

So, not to slow the show down,
Gracey strolled back on stage
with nary a smile nor frown.
Bleeding and cursing she posed.
Wailing and wriggling
and sprouting red horns…
I’ll kill you all with my pen.
Came from her lips of thorns.

shock

Okay, I am on my way to see what you laid wasted in your trek.

I still can't make out the photo...is that you, or are you eating something ? ohh

Re: Scary/Horror Poems!

So, I gogant,
did visit the lair
of Gracey, the fair.
I was pleasant--
didn't stay too long,
couldn't take the gore.
I left her there dying.
She was bleeding
you know,
So I took my charms
back to the farm.
So here I sit,
watching the show.

smirk No wait !!! More like... shock

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
