Additionally, agencies can allow camera users to dismiss a remote activation and automatically assign a category to the recording. This can be useful for officers in situations where they do not want their camera to record.

Note: Axon recommends creating a Category that can used as the default category before enabling the False remote activation cancellation setting.
Remote Activation Axon Body 3 Camera Display and Dismissal
When a remote activation is received by the camera, it begins recording. The camera display shows the message Press Select to Cancel for 10 seconds to allow the officer to dismiss the remote activation. If the Select button is pressed, the remote activation is dismissed and the camera will end the recording and return to the READY state. If the Select button is not pressed within 10 seconds, the message is removed, the remote activation is not dismissed, and the camera will continue recording.
