One must impeach thoughts of self and cling only to thoughts of their union with their spouse. There is never such a thing as 'it's your fault!'. It is OUR fault. It is OUR marriage. It is OUR shared responsibility in good times and in bad. It is OUR love that fails if we fail. It is OUR uncertainties, OUR selfishness, OUR heartaches, or OUR love that will determine the outcome of OUR marriage. Don't blame yourself for a failed marriage or relationship. You were not alone in that failing, so don't take all of the responsibility. Pass it on. Marcus |
