    25 Whales

25 whales washed ashore the night i died
    while
53 old women in shadow covered towns
gathered their coupons for the next morning
i lied on the grass and inhaled sweet promises
made to deaf angels, each as lovely as their
    wings
    and i
    a mere mortal
    knew it was time

I like it, it reminds me of the movies white, blue and red

This one is really good too!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
