    A Father's Love

A father's love is strong and sure
It is gentle and it is pure
It reaches out and holds his child
No matter the number of the mile.

A father's love is unwavering and true
It is fair and it is a mending glue
It caresses the heart and wipes the tears
No matter the number of the year.

A father's love is always and forever
It is a cherished and loving endeavor
It never gives up on his child
No matter the hands on the dial

For a father's love will stand strong,
Through the rights and through the wrongs
For a father's love will walk the mile
No matter how deep the pile!

powerful words, thoughts and feelings, your children are fortunate to have you

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
