    A friendship better marriage

They say nothing lasts forever, our friendship will
Even after we die, we'll be friends still
You're my best friend because you're the best of the best
    you're better than the rest
You feel like I don't care because I have to leave you soon
but in reality thats a heartache I must go through
it hurts me worse than it does you
you said you'll miss me I'll miss you too
yes, we've been there for each other
    for better or for worst
    for rich or for poor
but its nothing like a marriage
    because death won't part us

love the emotions of regret and love and every single other one in this. i wish it sung more to me. but i still enjoyed this.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
