A SILLY SONG

A SILLY SONG

I want to write a silly song,

Of joyous thoughts that trip along,

In a land where no one does wrong,

And boisterous children all belong,

And the pain of rejection all is gone,

When Lady you're with me.

I want to sing of silly things,

The simple joy that a smile brings,

Of innocense when a child sings,

And simple toys like

And love throughout this land that rings,

When Lady you're with me.

My mind is full of silly thoughts,

Of a child's love that can't be bought,

And understanding's always sought,

And butterflies cannot be caught,

I never need to be distraught,

When Lady you're with me.

These silly thoughts have a way,

Of making me smile through the day,

A

And mistakes won't drive your love away,

That peaceful love is here to stay,

When Lady you're with me.

a piece of string,ll childish squabbles go away,
