    A Vampires Night

I come out when I see moonlight
and when the stars are shining bright.

    To feast so quitely
So I can stay out of sight.

And when the sun starts to rise
I go back into my darkness and my eyes die.

I then wait for the moonlight
and the stars that shine bright.

So I can repeat my night
    Until the morning light.

Nice, simple and to the point of what you wanted to say.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
