Alone

Alone

Its not held mentally
But somehow its part of my knowledge
With every kind of situation
That one statement comes to mind
Though it rings true, it also rings false
Two things I cant get by
The reality of my tragedy
And the statement of
Your not alone.
I may have gone through a similar situation
But never is it the exact same thing
My pain is different
My acceprtance is different
The feeling of it all is different
So tell me how am i not alone?
Put me in a room
With similar experiences
And we all wear a different shade of another color
Is it then that we can now imagine
What each other experienced?
Or can we say in uncertain terms
I know what you went through
Or even how one feels
If that were true
Then why can we not stop
One anothers pain and feeling
Of guilt, shame or defeat?
Because no matter where you go
Or what you do or who you turn to
Will you ever experience
The same.
