    Amazing Grace (remix)

There is a house in this old world
    They call the rising sun
Its been the ruin of many poor boys
And god know that I am one

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind ,but now I see

    Now mothers tell your children
Not to do the things I've done
Don't go home to sin and misery
In the house of the rising sun

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds
    In a beleivers ear
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wound
    And drives away his fears

Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
    And grace my fears releived
How precious did that grace appeared
    The hour I first beleived

Now Jesus bore the cross alone
    For the world go free
There is a cross for everyone
And theres even a cross for me

Through many dangers toils and snares
    I've already come
Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home

There is a house in this old world
    They call the rising sun
Its been the ruin of many children
And god knows that I am one

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see

Do you know what the house of the rising sun is?

You see the house of the rising sun
    Is a house of sin
    On every street, road, block
Community, town county, state or country
there is a house of sin

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
