Poem Commentary

This I had created while posting an image by the same name on another website. I liked the poem so much that I added it as another entry on the same site. I'm adding it here as a starting piece into my OriginalPoetry account. Please give some feed back.

I'm a freeverser, so if you dislike things that have no rhyme, you'll not like my stuff too much.

Among My Stars

Among my stars
The beauty rests
Planets of red
fogs of colors vivid

Among my stars
Is where she sleeps
Her beauty is which I love
Her existence as mine

Among my stars
I sleep forever
I command their light
for I fear my darkness

Among my stars
My pretty little stars
There is nothing that can harm me
But everything to lose

Among my stars
They're not my stars
at least... Not anymore
They're now Our stars

Among Our stars
Our children will play
Our Souls will play with them
As eternity flows on

Among Our stars...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
