AN ODE ON THE STAGES OF LIFE

When afirst i long to live, though a kid and caring child
I lay beside my father's knees, and pull as string his
hairy legs,As i step into my youthful age,I realise
    i'm special thinking of one,the father's sight i still
beseech, because in life the only song
Is when things joined and nevergone.

As bdays goes by still i long to grow, into a full lady
And forward still i go,because nature too is blind
And yet bi forgot that weakness comes when love
Is gone, that i say because father is gone
Then with my very eyes, yet,he sees
Couples joining as he foretold, two joined together
Must not depart because, love fulfilled is love divine
Happy yet we were with nature's time.

With him the world wasw blue, when gone nature
Smiled at me,to teach me that when i long to live
I must first begged for one, that which prayed for
Will be sure pleased divine,in the day when i rise
With my four weak limbs, like my toothless mouth
Going back to my early age,and the wrinkles that
Shows the age, then i recall when for one was told
That nature still good but still, jealousy now admired.

When at last i wake in the evening,my two limbs can
No longer give the support without a staff, staggering
    Falling here and there,till i say i say adieu,then
I realise that such is life and i long to live for nature's sake
Then for you my son, then very one i do adore, don't
Weep, but stay still with them, who live to see my end
To join with you and say adieu, because the world wants
And nature gives,he gives freely without reward.

The very day my eyes was set,on your handwork
Just for me,i realise your love claimed for me but
Still, too late was it that i already asked for the one
Which nature gives freely, then i knew later that
Permission taken is alwys granted, the very day i said
    ADIEU TO THE WORLD.
