Ars Poetica

What happen to the time when words were free?
To express themselves only in a few lines
What takes a lifetime to explain.

Truth falling upon deaf ears
Longing to be slung in a metaphoric collage
With painted pictures as leads

Reviling insights of the mind
A labyrinth of chaos and sanity
Left only the voice to decipher

Knowing the question is what plagues this vessel
Just understand the right words to write
trying to slow down a train when it's at a complete stop

Brick walls blocking any concentration
Until thoughts can break barriers
Are words once more free

Your writing is a pleasure to read. It's mellow, mysterious and artsy. I love it!

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
