    As I Wait For You

    Standing there,
    I drop to my knees;

    The wind blows,
    only a gentle breeze;

    I sit there,
    as I wait for you;

    I beg you come hither,
    If only you knew;

    waiting for you,
    on the cold ground

    I hope your near,
    I want to be found;

    As I stand,
    I see your face;

    You come toward me,
    as I stand in my place;

    I reach out for you,
    but your no longer seen;

    I should have known it was only a dream!
