    As You Sleep

I sit and watch and smile. I love you.

The house so quiet the room is still and yet you

are there. Laying peacefully looking content I

gently kiss your temple you stir slightly but not

in discomfort just in knowing it is me.

I sit and listen to you breathe slowly calming

sort of I enjoy coming close and feel it on my

face. You are alive you are well you are here.

Again I love you. And Tommorrow I will smile

again and I will sit and watch. I love you.
